Vijay Deverakonda And Rashmika Mandanna’s Pre-Wedding Fun Captured in Udaipur
Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have kicked off their pre-wedding celebrations in Udaipur, surrounded by close friends and tight security ahead of their traditional South Indian wedding.
Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have begun their pre-wedding celebrations in Udaipur, marking the start of an intimate yet star-studded affair. The festivities reportedly include poolside games, Japanese dinners and private gatherings with close friends from the film industry. The couple was photographed leaving Hyderabad for Udaipur on Tuesday morning along with Vijay’s brother, Anand Deverakonda, and a few childhood friends. Vijay’s Hyderabad residence had earlier been decorated with lights ahead of the formal wedding announcement.
Several close friends from the industry have already arrived in Udaipur to join the celebrations. Director Tharun Bhascker, who worked with Vijay on Pelli Choopulu, and actor Eesha Rebba were seen arriving together. Stylist Shravya Varma, a close friend of the couple, also joined the festivities. Actor Ashika Ranganath and director-actor Rahul Ravindran, who directed Rashmika in The Girlfriend, were later spotted in the city. The wedding is expected to maintain a tight guest list, similar to the couple’s intimate engagement ceremony in Hyderabad.
Rashmika and Vijay first met while working on the 2018 film Geetha Govindam and later reunited for the 2019 film Dear Comrade. Over the years, speculation about their relationship grew as fans noticed them spending time together during holidays and at Vijay’s residence. Though they maintained that they were just friends, rumours intensified in 2022. In October 2025, the couple got engaged in a private ceremony attended by close family and friends before officially confirming their relationship and upcoming wedding on Sunday.
According to sources, the wedding—dubbed the “Virosh” wedding by fans—will have an extensive three-tier security system in place. Local authorities in Udaipur, along with security personnel flown in from Hyderabad, are expected to oversee arrangements, with an added international security layer ensuring privacy. The couple is likely to tie the knot in a traditional South Indian ceremony, reflecting Vijay’s Telugu heritage and Rashmika’s Kodava roots.
