Vin Diesel has sparked speculation about Cristiano Ronaldo joining the Fast & Furious franchise after hinting at a role for the football star in a recent social media post.
Fast & Furious actor Vin Diesel has sparked curiosity among fans after sharing an image of himself standing alongside football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
He captioned the image, saying, “Everyone asked, would he be in the Fast mythology… I gotta tell you, he is a real one. We wrote a role for him… @cristiano.”
This immediately left fans wondering whether Ronaldo would truly be part of the much-anticipated car-racing franchise.
“Let’s goooo, the GOAT,” wrote one user, while another commented, “We have Cristiano in F&F.”
However, there is currently no official confirmation regarding Ronaldo’s role in the movie.
The upcoming installment of the franchise is set to feature an ensemble cast, including Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Jason Momoa, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, and many others.
Scheduled for release in April 2027, Fast X: Part 2 will be directed by Louis Leterrier, who also directed Fast X (2023).
According to reports and statements from the filmmakers, the chapter is expected to return the story to Los Angeles, refocus on street racing and car culture, and pay homage to the franchise’s roots.
The film is also expected to feature the return of Brian O’Conner, the character portrayed by the late Paul Walker, who died in 2013. The character’s appearance is likely to be achieved through CGI and digital techniques.
The upcoming film, “Fast X: Part 2,” is expected to serve as the final main installment of the long-running Fast & Furious saga.
While fans continue to speculate about Ronaldo’s involvement, Universal Pictures has yet to confirm his participation or release further details about the film.
