Walt Disney World Will Have No More ‘Night of Joy’, Facebook Page Deleted

Walt Disney World Resort has officially declared that they will be having no more ‘Night of Joy’, the Christian Music Concert that takes place every year. Walt Disney has deleted the Facebook page for the event.

An age-old festival comes to an end. Held during September, each year the Christian Music Concert has attracted personalities like Steven Amy Grant, Curtis Chapman, Michael W. Smith, Jars of Clay, Newsboys, Casting Crowns, Chris Tomlin, Kirk Franklin, CeCe Winans, Stryper and Debby Boone who are extremely popular in the Christian music genre. Last year it gave out its last show, the Disney spokeswoman confirmed, “Last year was our last event.”

If you’ve planned a tour to attend ‘Night of Joy’ this year, then you might seek some alterations in your planning. Rather than visiting the resort, you can visit Disneyland that located on the West Coast of the Park. They put up a similar show every year since 1950. Known as ‘Candlelight Ceremony’ the event offers its audience a divine time with Christmas carols and celebrity appearances. In 2017, they had the very charming actor Chris Hemsworth, known for his ‘Thor’ role in the Marvel live action films, as a part of the show.

But why did Walt Disney World Resort took such a decision so abruptly? According to many, they suspected it some time back. The spokeswoman informed that Walt Disney is persistent in bringing changes to their shows and events, mentioning, “continually changing our offerings.” Moreover, there are no possibilities that the show will return in the near future.
