Happy International Women’s Day to everyone out there. And not only the women, my wish goes for the little girls, teenagers and men too! Why everyone? Well, as a woman myself, I take this opportunity to list down the things what a woman wants. Just an International Women’s Day wish or more than that!

 

No Forwarded Messages

 

It’s a widely followed trend today! Sending forwarded messages on Whatsapp, messenger or the chat platform you use. After receiving we always send you a ‘smiley’ gesture with a ‘thank you’ note for sure, but, honestly speaking, that’s annoying. Even we know, you copied and shared it to show you care! Let me tell you, you can just type and send it too. Means a lot! But please, no forwarded messages anymore.

 

No Tagging on Social Media

 

Pardon me for using so many ‘no’s in the subtitles. But it’s International Women’s Day and we women, feel a bit revolutionary on such occasions! Lol! Now, on a serious note we are tired of social media tagging, okay? ‘Feeling proud with the women in my life. #HappyInternationalWomensDay’. What irritates me, it’s this very guy who literally stalked me on social media. And, do the ‘women in your life’ know about such proud deeds of yours? So please, relieve us from tagging!

 

Wish Us from Your Hearts

 

Hey men! Calm down! This is not at all against you. Not try to become feminist and I respect all you loads. You matter to us. You know what we really want? When you wish us Happy International Women’s Day, we’ll be more than happy if that’s coming straight from your hearts. Like really, I swear! And then please no such foul comments at us, “Women huh! They think they’ll get all the advantage being women.”, or, “What do you girls think of yourselves huh? Rejecting a guy like me? That’s why you gals get raped!” Please stop!

 

Stop Abusing and We’re Ready to Offer Our Soul

 

This is not an exaggeration! This is reality. We women, have the capability to devote our entire self to one or even more than one. Being a daughter, I’ve seen my my mom devoting herself to the family. And I really don’t know how much she has for her own self. And I won’t deny, at times I’m so much mad at her, and still I find her to be the first one beside me during my agony.

 

A wife is the strongest support to his husband, a sister is the sweetest defender of her brother, a female colleague strikes a balance at the workplace, a female friend is the greatest motivation to one. And a mother to her children… you already know!

In a nutshell, a little respect from you and you’ll get tons of love, affection, support showering from our side. You know what I believe, women are born to spread love!

 

Respect Everyday

 

This message goes on air every Women’s Day, unfortunately the circumstances don’t change much for us. Still, I repeat it this time too with immense hope - not just this International Women’s Day, we look forward to your respect, everyday!
