Veteran actress Zeenat Aman emerged as one of the most captivating presences at the Jaipur Literature Festival, where she spoke candidly about creativity, life, and the quiet joys that sustain her beyond the limelight.
She appeared on a panel during the launch of the book Older and Bolder by author Aman Nath. She also recited a few poems from the book, which drew loud applause from the audience.
Known for a life lived largely in the public eye, the actress reflected on how visibility has shaped her journey. “There’s drama in everyone’s life, but mine is known to all because my life has been public. If I get the chance to write a book, I’d want to write my autobiography,” she told the audience, sparking immediate excitement.

“I’d love to write my autobiography too — with Aman. Aman with Amaan,” she added.

“I enjoy every day. I’ve seen a lot of spotlights in my life. Whether the spotlight is there or not, I enjoy every day. We should live like that. We must live every day with joy. I live every day happily. Even if a single flower blooms in my garden, it brings me joy.”
The actress strikes a balance between travelling and unwinding.
The Jaipur Literature Festival 2026 marks the 19th edition of the globally celebrated event, bringing together writers, thinkers, and artists from around the world.
