World Leaders Extend Their Wishes on PM Narendra Modi’s 70th Birthday

In honour of PM Narendra Modi’s 70th birthday, sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik made a captivating creation on Puri beach.

On the sand creation, one can catch a glimpse of Modi Ji, adorning a white Kurta Pyjama teamed up with an orange waistcoat and a white and green stole hanging down his shoulders.

On the stunning creation, Sudarsan wrote, “Happy birthday to Modi ji. Millions of blessings are with you.”

UK’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson sent his wishes on the PM’s birthday. 

Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli also greeted him on this special day. 

German Chancellor Angela Merkel addressed the PM as “Narendra” in her birthday message. She further wrote, “I wish you all the very best in the future - particularly, in these unusual times, health, happiness and fulfilment.” She wished him “success” in his political work. The PM retweeted her tweet on his twitter handle.  

To mark PM Narendra Modi’s 70th birthday a ‘Seva Saptah’ or week of service has been organized by the BJP party. The week of service includes events like organizing blood donation camps, eye check up camps and distributing rations among the poor.
