Yuval Noah Harari Had An Insightful Conversation on AI’s Influence on Humanity with Aamir Khan & Psychiatrist Dr. Rajesh Parikh

Military historian and professor Yuval Noah Harari had an engaging conversation with Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and moderator psychiatrist Dr Rajesh Parikh on AI’s influence on humanity.

Yuval Harari is in India to launch his latest book ‘Nexus.’ He was hosted by Crossword Bookstore.

He highlighted that human beings are such an intelligent species yet we make such self-destructive decisions.

They further discussed the benefits of AI as well as the major threats AI could pose to society in the years to come.

He wants people to read his books to explore and question certain topics; however, he stated that his books are not the final word on crucial subjects.

He offered us an insight into his latest work. The book Nexus deals with the kind of information we human beings are being exposed to in these current times. He stresses that the problem lies in the information. Why do we have so much bad information and why does the quality of information not improve overtime ? Where do these harmful stories come from ? How much of the information we are receiving is true? He told us to be mindful of junk information or we could end up with a sick mind.

Overall, the best selling author captivated the attention of the viewers by bringing up relevant questions. The fascinating conversation made us view AI and human interactions with a fresh perspective.
