Govinda and Sunita Ahuja's Marriage under Scrutiny amid Separation Speculations

New Delhi: Renowned Bollywood actor Govinda and his wife, Sunita Ahuja, are reportedly facing turbulence in their marriage, leading to speculations about a possible divorce after 37 years of togetherness. While reports about their alleged separation continue to circulate, Govinda recently addressed these claims in a conversation with ETimes.

Keeping his response concise and without delving into specifics, Govinda dismissed the swirling rumors. When ETimes inquired about the veracity of reports suggesting discord in his marital life, the Hero No. 1 star stated, "There are only business talks going... I am in the process of starting my films." Meanwhile, Sunita Ahuja refrained from responding to ETimes’ queries regarding the ongoing separation rumors.

Further insights were provided by Givinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, who conceded that certain disagreements have arisen due to remarks made by family members. However, he emphasized that no drastic decisions had been taken. “There have been issues between the couple due to certain statements made by certain members of the family. There is nothing more to it, and Govinda is in the process of starting a film for which artists are visiting our office. We are trying to resolve it,” he explained.

Expressing her discontent, she remarked, “I have told him that in my next life, he should not be my husband. He doesn’t go on holiday. I am a person who wants to go out with her husband and eat pani-puri on the streets. He spent too much time working. I don’t recall a single instance when we both went out to watch a movie.”

As per a report quoted by ETimes, a source revealed, “Sunita had sent a separation notice a few months ago, but there has been no movement since then.” However, there has been no official confirmation from either party regarding legal proceedings.
