Shoe Brand Skechers Breaks Partnership with Kanye, Madame Tussauds Removes His Wax Statue

The company said that he arrived at the office unannounced.
The American rapper and one of the most influential hip hop musicians has been in the news lately for his racist and antisemitic statements that has damaged his business collaborations to a large degree.
Skechers have expressed that they have no interest in working with West.
“We condemn his recent divisive remarks and do not tolerate anti-Semitism or any other form of hate speech.”
The statement also said that he was involved in unauthorised filming and he was escorted out of the building after a brief conversation.
Prior to this German Sportswear company Adidas ended their long time partnership with Kanye. Adidas put their partnership under review in October after Ye wore a white T-shirt with the controversial slogan ‘White Lives displayed on it.
In a statement Adidas said, “end production of Yeezy branded products, and stop all payments to Ye and his companies. Adidas will stop the Adidas Yeezy business with immediate effect.”
He had been ranting antisemitic statements for a while now.
On the Drinks Champ podcast Kanye said, “I can say antisemitic s*** and Adidas cannot drop me.”
He also threatened on Twitter to go “death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE”, apparently referring to the US military term Defcon.
Other companies who have severed ties with the rapper are: Gap, Foot Locker, Balenciaga, and T J Maxx.
Madame Tussauds has announced that they have removed Kanye's wax statue as well.
"Ye's" (Kanye West’s) figure has been retired from the attraction floor to our archive,'' a spokeswoman told the PA news agency.
"Each profile earns their place at Madame Tussauds London, and we listen to our guests and the public on who they expect to see at the attraction."
Kanye has been open about his mental health struggles on some occasions. After a concert in 2016 he was admitted to UCLA Medical Center although he was not formally diagnosed.
