Sonu Sood and His Team Help Procure Oxygen Cylinders for ARAK Hospital in Bengaluru

Actor Sonu Sood and his team have done an amazing job in procuring oxygen cylinders for a hospital in dire need of oxygen cylinders in Bengaluru.

Sonu Sood’s Charity foundation received an SOS call from a police official who stated that the hospital is in urgent need of 16 oxygen cylinders without which the hospital is at the risk of losing around 22 covid-19 patients. The hospital had already lost two patients earlier due to the shortage of oxygen cylinders.

The team immediately sprung into action and dedicatedly worked the entire night to procure oxygen cylinders for ARAK hospital.

This is what Sonu Sood had to say about his team’s efforts: “This was sheer teamwork and the will to help our fellow countrymen. As soon as we got the call from Inspector Satyanarayan, we verified it and got to action within minutes. The team spent the entire night not thinking about anything but just helping the hospital to get oxygen cylinders. Had there been any delay, many families could have lost their close ones. I want to thank everyone who helped in saving so many lives last night.”

The actor who recently recovered from covid-19 has taken to twitter to send a message across to all those people who lost their loved ones owing to shortage of oxygen cylinders.

Actress Pooja Bhatt retweeted his words and defined them as extraordinarily generous and life affirming words. She further questioned whether we would be able to hear the same words from our elected leaders.

Sonu Sood has played a pivotal role in using all his possible resources to help citizens of India during the covid crisis. He personally arranged buses, trains and chartered flights last year to help stranded migrants get back home. He even received the SDG Special Humanitarian Action Award from the Punjab government for his immense humanitarian and philanthropic work to help the citizens of India during the pandemic.
