Greta Thunberg, the young climate change activist from Sweden delivered a passionate speech at the UN Climate Action Summit which has gone viral and also managed to pull in a reaction from US President Donald Trump.
Yesterday, a 16-year-old lass from all the way to Sweden took the UN Climate Action Summit stage by storm with her fiery speech. She is Greta Thunberg, a young climate change activist who appeared sharp tongued at the UN meet in New York and did raise a few concerning issues regarding our environment with much severity.
“This is all wrong”, she uttered and expressed that she should be back in school and not up here (United nations). She further added with much emotional aggression, “You have stolen my dreams, my childhood, with your empty words”. “How dare you?”, she was roaring with rage.
“People are dying”, Greta almost got misty-eyed and choked up at this point. She kept on adding that the entire ecosystem is collapsing and we are on the verge of extinction. The young activist denounced the current economic growth mentioning “you” only care about money while the climactic balance is falling apart.
She firmly declared, “You are failing us” and threatened by saying the eyes of the future generation are watching “you” and if “you choose to fail us we will never forgive you.”

Greta’s viral deliverance also managed to pull in a reaction from US President Donald Trump, “She seems like a very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future. So nice to see!”, he tweeted.
