With Smartphones turning out to be one of its largest categories, Amazon India, the Indian arm of the Nasdaq-listed Amazon.com Inc, has teamed up with Realme, the sub-brand from the stable of OPPO. Come May 15 and Realme 1 will be exclusively rolled out on India’s largest online marketplace.


Noor Patel, director, category management, Amazon India, said that smartphones continue to be one of its largest categories, making Amazon the destination of choice for customers as well as brands. The company, therefore is excited to have a strategic partnership with OPPO for the launch of the latter’s new sub-brand that appeals to savvy, young shoppers. The new smartphone, the Realme 1, will be available from May 15 exclusively on Amazon.in. The focus will always be on providing the consumers with the best selection at the best prices and the convenience of fast & reliable delivery as well.


Manufactured by OPPO factories, the brand assures extremely high quality at affordable prices. Primarily catering to the diverse needs of the young Indian consumers present online, Realme will offer beautifully designed and power packed choices in the range of Rs 10,000-20,000 on India’s largest marketplace, Amazon India. The brand has lined up plans for more premium product launches in the near future.
