Docu-series ‘Love Storiyaan’ on Amazon Prime is gaining a lot of viewership.

The series, inspired by the India Love Project, is created by former journalists Priya Ramani, Samar Halarnkar and Niloufer Venkatraman.

In total, there are six very diverse stories from India and abroad. Stories of ordinary people who believed in love and fought all odds to keep it alive!

All real life couples have been interviewed for ‘Love Storiyaan.’

The six stories have been directed by six different directors: Vivek Soni, Hardik Mehta, Collin D’Cunha, Shazia Iqbal, Akshay Indikar and Archana Phadke.

The stories encompass numerous states from West Bengal to Meghalaya. Simultaneously, viewers get to explore various Indian cultures and their beliefs, all in one platform.

The series explores different kinds of love. It lays emphasis on the fact that love doesn’t come with a set of instructions and one needs to be committed and resilient to make it work, just like these couples.

‘Love Storiyaan’ covers topics such as complexities of interfaith marriages, divorce, addiction and LGBTQAI related. Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta are the producers.

For instance in the first episode, Aekta decided to leave her first marriage which was abusive. She left home with her two daughters. Aekta gets a second chance with Kerala based journalist Ullekh.

However, they faced opposition from a rare source- Aekta’s two daughters. They found it hard to accept Ullekh as their dad. So, did Aekta’s daughters finally accept Ullekh ? Watch the series to know more! ‘Love Storiyaan’ is currently streaming on OTT platform Amazon Prime Video.
