BLS Accelerator, an arm of BLS International, one of the world’s largest specialist service providers for outsourcing of visa, passport, attestation and citizen services to the governments and diplomatic missions globally and has operations across 60 plus countries, will now invest upto $1 million in early startups across focused sectors this year. The accelerator, in their initial phase, is focussing on startups which are doing defining work across niche sectors like Agritech, G2C, E-governance, Healthcare and Travel. BLS Accelerator will run its first programme in April followed by 2 more similar accelerator programmes in 2019.

Riya Aggarwal, Founder and CEO, BLS Accelerator said that they are looking at supporting nearly 5-6 startups from our focused sector groups and partner with them to build companies that will have global relevance.

To begin with, BLS Accelerator focused on building internal capabilities to support startups across all business departments like legal, technology, design, people, marketing, manufacturing and sales under one roof.

Aggarwal said that they realized the need gap in the ecosystem and designed our approach based on challenges faced by startups. They have managed to attract domain experts who are industry leaders in their respective fields as mentors for the startups. Their mentors will go beyond the advisory role to support the young entrepreneur across all business aspects, she said.
