Macaulay Culkin Relives ‘Home Alone’ Scenes in This Absolutely New Google Assistant Ad

Macaulay Culkin is back! This time in a Google Assistant advert in which he has reprised his role as Kevin McCallister from the classic ‘Home Alone’ film. It’s just a 60 second Google commercial but worth watching.

The advertisement is pretty amusing with similar scenes from ‘Home Alone’ that have been re-enacted in a humorous and quirky way, 28 years later since the film first released. It is also bound to get you into the Christmas spirit and make you feel tad nostalgic.

The quirky advert begins with a chilled-out Macaulay asking Google “What’s in the calendar today?” to which the Google Assistant aptly replies, “You have one event today called ‘House to yourself.’” Macaulay appears glad on hearing this and pat comes the response, “oh yeah!!”

Then the shaving cream scene is re-enacted, the same scene when eight-year-old Kevin runs out of shaving cream for his beard that obviously never existed. He tells Google to add shaving cream to his shopping list.”

Soon Macaulay is seen jumping on his bed and messing up his bed linen. The jumping scene is different from the movie though when he was younger and infused with energy. In the advert, he’s finally seen yelling with pain as his back starts hurting after the exhausting jump. A strong indication of ageing and it goes to prove just how much Kevin McCallister has grown over the years.

He finally sits down to relish his delicious ‘Mac N Cheese’ dinner.  In no time the burglars arrive to disrupt his sumptuous meal but hold on ......Google Assistant is all set to begin ‘Operation Kevin.’
