UMC, Dubai, Teams up with Orah & Sangee BioChem to Roll out Non-Toxic Solutions for Agro and Dairy Industry

Dubai-headquartered UMC has joined hands with Orah from Mumbai and Sangee BioChem from Pune up to come up with and bring to the markets around the world some unique, innovative products, promising to touch industries, that affect the daily life-style of majority of the population – young and old, everywhere. They have applied for global patents to protect IP for these unique products.

New is refreshing – innovation as per the dictionary is “bringing in new changes” to, at times the established norm. A company that innovates in the current environment can be thus “very refreshing”. In a world where “tried and tested” is preferred frequently, often to mitigate risk, it takes the brave to innovate or even attempt to be innovative. Of-course just courage is not enough, it also needs the requisite knowledge and skill set.

Often to increase yield in agriculture, we need to use aids like pesticides and insecticides to eliminate the risk of pests and such things which could destroy the crop. But its use has to be judicious as once applied it cannot be removed by means wherein the fruit, leaf or veg is unaffected. This means its use has to be controlled and yield compromised. This probably results in millions of tons of food not being able to grow at all! Now imagine a situation where one could use as much pesticide and insecticide as is required and then once the fruit or leaf is harvested, remove most of the objectionable stuff on the surface completely using a non-toxic and completely safe water-based product. Sounds unreal?! – well…. in the real world it is Ecorich VFW!

A dairy, the place where food essential for an infant (milk) is produced and packaged often uses hazardous chemicals like caustic and nitric, to clean the very vessels where the milk is produced. The group has put forward product composites such as Ecorich Clean L and Ecorich OR which are completely non-toxic and safe. This group of techno-commercial chappies have managed to get to the world of food additives such as product composites, using little known isomers of Vitamin E which would leave many rubbing their eyes in disbelief. Vitamin E is an Oil – fat-soluble entity. Fantastic anti-oxidant, essential for the body and essential for many metabolic functions in the body. Undeniably one of the strongest anti-oxidants known. But most of us know about only one out of the eight isomers of this amazing entity, Vitamin E. The other little known isomers are the ones which protect the lipids in most plant seeds for years from going rancid and allow the seed to germinate whenever suitable conditions “happen” around it.
