Trade data shared by Sacnilk reveals a robust upward curve. After collecting ₹20 crore on Tuesday, Wednesday’s ₹13 crore reinforced the film’s weekday resilience. The opening day itself set the tone with ₹30 crore on Friday, followed by a powerful surge on Saturday when collections peaked at ₹36.5 crore.
Sunday witnessed a dramatic leap, an increase of nearly 50 percent, which catapulted Border 2 into the elite ₹100 crore bracket within its opening weekend. The crescendo arrived on Monday, Republic Day, when the film delivered a staggering ₹59 crore, its highest single-day figure so far. With this momentum, Border 2 has already overtaken the opening weekend numbers of Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar.

According to him, the film’s thunderous run is being fuelled by compelling word-of-mouth, particularly in Tier-2 and Tier-3 centres where footfalls have stayed remarkably stable.
Calling it an “unstoppable rampage,” Adarsh noted that the film’s performance on a crucial working Tuesday effectively sealed its blockbuster status. The absence of price incentives, coupled with hefty collections, only strengthens its commercial credentials.
