CEO, Co-Founder, And Technical Head of Book My Show to Be Investigated for Selling Fake Coldplay Concert Tickets

Ahead of the big event of the British band, Coldplay, Book My Show CEO, Technical head, and Co-founder have been summoned over black marketing of the tickets. Mumbai police had called the three people to question on Saturday, and have now asked them to appear before the investigation.

After an Advocate, Amit Vyas alleged that the platform is black marketing the tickets for Coldplay, set to happen next year at DY Patil Stadium Navi Mumbai, Mumbai police probed into the matter. The advocate claimed that the original price of tickets was close to 2500 however, they were shared with many other influencers that re-sold the tickets for nearly 3 lakhs.

In the accusations, the advocate claimed that BMS confused the fans and followers by selling the tickets at a higher price. A case of fraud is to be registered against the company. Vyas was able to find out certain brokers and middlemen involved in the re-selling of the tickets.

After facing backlash from various users and fans, BMS disregarded any involvement in fake tickets and is ready for any form of investigation. This came up after the site crashed when tickets were live for sale. Many of the users could not buy the tickets because of alleged fake selling claims Vyas. .

The platform claimed that it took all the necessary steps based on which the fans can avail the tickets. However, certain black marketers purchased the tickets and, sold them at higher prices.
