Chris Evans Informed Scarlett Johansson about the Release of the Black Widow Trailer

The trailer of Black Widow was released by Marvel Studios much ahead of the date scheduled. This took everyone by surprise including Black Widow herself. The first teaser was supposed to be out during Brazil's Comic-Con Experience. However, Marvel Studios had a trick up their sleeve as usual and Scarlett Johansson was unaware of it. 

In her interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Scarlett opened up about how she came to know about the unscheduled release of the trailer. Apparently, it was her close friend Chris Evans who had informed her about the trailer. "Nobody told me that it was coming out." She said. She added, I actually woke up and I got a text message from Chris Evans". She went on saying, "And he was like 'The trailer looks great.' I don't know what he was doing up at five AM, that's a whole other story... But yeah, I was also as excited as everybody else. I had no idea it was coming out."

We would also like to know what was Chris Evans doing being up and awake just at the break of dawn. He was probably checking the trailer to see if Red Guardian’s shield is better than his. For those who are wondering who Red Guardian is-He is the Soviet equivalent of Captain America. What is his role in the movie? Well, you’ve got to watch the movie to find out. What you can learn here is that the shield is similar to Captain America’s. How do we know that well, we’ve got to thank Marvel Legends Toys for it! With promotions in full swing, Marvel has released action figures inspired by the movie. Red Guardian’s shield has caught everyone’s eye.

Now that the fans have got a peek into the world of Black Widow movie, there is a lot of excitement and speculation about the movie. Fans are dissecting the trailer left to right and center.

Her costume has garnered a lot of interest among the fans. In the trailer, people were given a glimpse of her costumes and Scarlett was seen wearing two different types of costumes. One of the costumes she is seen donning is a white version of her original costume which we are accustomed to. The second costume is different in the sense that it is a dark bodysuit which we have not seen earlier. It looks more like an armor of sorts. 

The two distinct costumes may be the result of a flashback and the trailer confirms the fact that a flashback is on the cards in the movie. In one shot, the trailer shows a young Thunder Ross, whose character is being played by William Hurt who made his MCU debut with The Incredible Hulk. Marvel Studios has made him look younger with the use of its well-known CGI technology.
