Deepika and Ranveer Promote Abu Dhabi’s Cultural Beauty in New Tourism Campaign
Experience Abu Dhabi, the destination brand of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, has announced Deepika Padukone as the newest regional brand ambassador.
Ranveer and Deepika’s new promotional ad beautifully showcases Abu Dhabi’s cultural heritage and has captivated fans with their chemistry and charm.
Tourism brand Experience Abu Dhabi has appointed Deepika Padukone as its new face.
She joins her husband, Ranveer Singh, who has been the ambassador for the department since 2023.
On Monday, Ranveer Singh dropped a video on Instagram as part of Abu Dhabi’s new promotional campaign.
The campaign, unveiled through Ranveer’s Instagram, opens with the couple wandering through the Louvre Abu Dhabi, awestruck by an ancient artifact. “90 AD – can you imagine this level of detailing?” Ranveer marvels, his eyes lighting up. “Sometimes I wonder what my pose would be if they made a statue of me!” Deepika laughs, teasing him that he “deserves to be in a museum.”
From there, the camera follows the pair to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, where Deepika, draped in a graceful abaya, embodies quiet elegance. Her look sparked waves of admiration online, with fans flooding the comments section: “Looks stunning in Abaya ❤️” and “Beautiful Abu Dhabi with beautiful people.”
The ad highlights the beauty and uniqueness of Abu Dhabi and emphasizes how every new place in the world has something special to offer to tourists.
The Bollywood couple have done an excellent job promoting the capital of the United Arab Emirates — Abu Dhabi.
Comments from fans:
“Beautiful 🔥🔥”
“Abu Dhabi 😍😍😍😍”
“This mosque is in Dubai. If you want to see it from the inside, according to Dubai government law, wearing a burqa is mandatory — only then will you be allowed to enter. Some blind followers are misunderstanding this.”
“Welcome back, Mastani ✨✨✨✨”
“Beautiful Abu Dhabi with beautiful people ❤️”
Fans have gone into a frenzy over the couple’s chemistry. After featuring together in movies like Bajirao Mastani, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, 83, and Singham Again, the couple have now been captured together in this new advert.
A few commenters have mistaken Deepika’s attire for a hijab, when in fact she is wearing an abaya in the ad. It is compulsory for all women tourists to wear an abaya as a mark of respect when visiting the religious site.
The ad concludes with Deepika delivering a meaningful message to the audience: “We travel to see the world, but sometimes we end up seeing ourselves.”
With both Deepika and Ranveer now serving as faces of Abu Dhabi’s cultural identity, the city has found the perfect ambassadors to embody its message: that true beauty lies in discovery — of places, and of oneself.
