Dhanashree Verma Opens Up About Friendship, Support, And Controversy on Rise And Fall
Dhanashree Verma reached Rise and Fall’s finals, shared emotional experiences supporting loved ones, addressed friendship controversies with Arbaaz Patel, and emphasized maintaining boundaries while expressing warmth in the competitive show environment.
Dhanshree Verma has reached the final stages of the reality show Rise and Fall, and emotions ran high over the weekend as contestants reunited with their family members. During this emotional reunion, Dhanshree candidly shared aspects of her past, highlighting how she supported her ex-husband Yuzvendra Chahal even when he was in the wrong, particularly during a tense moment involving her good friend and co-contestant Arbaaz Patel.
The discussion intensified when Dhanshree confronted Arbaaz after his girlfriend Nikki Tamboli expressed discomfort with her presence.
"I couldn't sleep the whole night, just kept crying, I didn't feel good about a lot of things. It has been very difficult for me to do this show. I know a person like me who has gotten so much hate from outside, her friend is hated on the show, and I still stood by you. I never said anything other than how I have been asking you to mend your ways. You are my friend and will stay that," Dhanashree said, her voice tinged with vulnerability.
Known for her unwavering support to loved ones even after the err, Dhanshree further explained. "I must have behaved differently for a day or two, but that was for my safety. Everyone asked me to maintain a distance from you. The least I deserved from Nikki was a thank you. I have put more effort into this friendship than necessary, but I want to step back because I have justified myself too much. I don't want to do this. I have done this in my life, even when my partner was wrong, I supported him, and then I repented it, so I don't want that repeated."
Tensions rose on the show when Arbaaz questioned Dhanshree about her habit of hugging male contestants, particularly Arjun and Aarush. "Tum kya seedha jakar hug karti ho? Arjun ko, Aarush ko? (Why do you directly hug Arjun or Aarush or others?)" he asked.
Dhanshree calmly responded that her hugs were a gesture of warmth and greeting for everyone. Arbaaz then suggested that she offer side hugs instead, to maintain boundaries and avoid misunderstandings.
The episode highlighted the delicate balance between personal boundaries, emotional expression, and friendship dynamics in a high-pressure reality show environment, showcasing Dhanashree’s introspective and empathetic approach toward relationships, support, and self-respect.
