Aditya Dhar’s spy thriller Dhurandhar has emerged as a major box office phenomenon, crossing the ₹800 crore mark within just 30 days of its release. The milestone makes it the first Bollywood film to achieve this feat in such a short time.

The film recorded strong and consistent earnings in India, collecting ₹218 crore net in its first week. This was followed by ₹261.5 crore in the second week, ₹188.3 crore in the third week, and ₹115.7 crore in the fourth week. Its worldwide box office collection currently stands at ₹1,186.25 crore.

With these numbers, Dhurandhar has secured a place among the top five highest-grossing Indian films of all time. Dangal continues to hold the top position with a worldwide gross of ₹2,070 crore.

The Ranveer Singh–starrer is now on track to overtake Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2, which earned ₹1,215 crore globally, to become the fifth highest-grossing Indian film ever. Trade analysts expect Dhurandhar to cross the ₹1,200 crore mark worldwide in the coming days.

Written, co-produced, and directed by Aditya Dhar, the film also features additional screenplay contributions from Shivkumar V. Panicker and Ojas Gautam. The action-packed drama is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios.

The film boasts an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi in pivotal roles.

Despite its commercial success, Dhurandhar faced restrictions overseas, with the film being banned in several Gulf nations. Reports also suggest that it was illegally downloaded nearly two million times in Pakistan, where Indian films have remained banned since 2019.

Meanwhile, the makers have already announced a sequel to Dhurandhar, which is slated for a theatrical release on March 19, 2026.
