Jabalpur-Hyderabad Flight Receives Bomb Threat, Passengers Deplaned
Hyderabad flight diverted to Nagpur after receiving a Bomb threat, passengers were deboarded and served with refreshments
A flight from Jabalpur to Hyderabad was moved to Nagpur after it received a bomb threat. All the passengers were deboarded and search operations had started. All the passengers are safe claimed one of the Airport officials.
"Flight 6E 7308 operating from Jabalpur to Hyderabad was diverted to Nagpur due to a bomb threat. Upon landing, all passengers were disembarked, and mandatory security checks were promptly initiated. Passengers were provided with assistance and refreshments” claimed Indigo officials.
Indigo also apologised to the customers for this action claiming a security issue. However, passengers were seen infuriated which led to chaos at the airport. Bomb threats have increased over the period which is creating ruckus among the passengers and travellers.
While airports consider such threats to be quite serious search operation is carried out systematically. Bomb threats can disrupt flight operations which can cause an immense amount of challenges to the passengers and to those that have connecting flights. The accused behind the hoax has not been identified by the police or the CISF however, search operations are underway and the culprit will be identified soon
