Karisma Kapoor Engages in Leadership Talks at Elite Women’s Roundtable
Karisma Kapoor attended a private women’s empowerment roundtable with Queen Rania Al Abdullah, calling the experience an honour and a meaningful dialogue on leadership and the future.
Bollywood actor Karisma Kapoor recently participated in an exclusive roundtable discussion on women’s empowerment and leadership, held in the presence of Queen Rania Al Abdullah. The private gathering brought together a select group of accomplished women from diverse fields for a meaningful exchange on leadership, purpose and the future shaped by women.
Karisma shared glimpses from the evening on her social media, posting a group photograph from the event. Dressed in a soft yellow traditional ensemble, the actor stood alongside Queen Rania and other distinguished attendees.
Describing the experience as both an honour and a privilege, Karisma wrote, “It was an honour and privilege to be part of a private roundtable in the esteemed presence of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah alongside such inspiring women engaging in heartfelt dialogue on women's empowerment, leadership and the future.”
Reflecting further on the significance of the discussion, she added, “Moments like these are a powerful reminder that when women come together with purpose, honesty and vision they don't just shape conversations they help shape the future for the next generation. Grateful to have been part of something so meaningful.” She also expressed gratitude to Isha Ambani for hosting what she described as a “wonderful and memorable evening.”
On the professional front, Karisma has maintained a selective presence in the entertainment industry after taking a substantial break from films. She returned to the screen with carefully chosen projects, including the web series Brown and the digital show Mentalhood. In addition to OTT appearances, she has also featured in reality and talent shows.
The actor has previously stated that she prefers to take on roles that genuinely inspire and motivate her rather than accepting projects solely for visibility, underscoring her measured and intentional approach to her career.
