KFC Unveils Limited-Edition Street Food Menu with Naan Burgers and Matcha Drinks

KFC has introduced a limited-edition street food-inspired menu across the UK and Ireland, giving its classic chicken burgers a fresh twist by replacing traditional burger buns with soft naan bread. The new range blends the fast-food chain's signature fried chicken with South Asian-inspired flavours and will be available for a limited time.KFC-website-and-application.jpeg

Headlining the menu are two new naan burgers: the Tandoori Zinger Crispy Naan and the Creamy Original Crispy Naan. Both sandwiches feature KFC's famous chicken fillets served inside warm, soft naan bread, offering customers a new take on the brand's traditional burger lineup.a26e83fd-a634-42e8-86a7-39a1a5e956e9.jpeg

The Tandoori Zinger Crispy Naan is designed for those who enjoy bold, spicy flavours. It features KFC's signature Zinger chicken fillet, topped with tandoori sauce, fresh tomato, red onion, lettuce, and melted cheese, combining the heat of the Zinger with the rich, smoky taste of tandoori seasoning.

For customers looking for a milder option, KFC has introduced the Creamy Original Crispy Naan. This version uses the chain's iconic Original Recipe chicken fillet, complemented by a creamy yoghurt and shallot sauce, along with tomato, red onion, lettuce, and melted cheese. The combination aims to deliver a smoother, more balanced flavour while retaining the brand's signature crispy chicken.

Both naan burgers are priced at £7.49 when purchased individually or £9.49 as part of a meal, giving customers the option to enjoy the new creations on their own or with fries and a drink.

The street food menu also introduces new side dishes inspired by bold flavours. Among them are Tandoori Loaded Fries, which add a spicy twist to KFC's classic fries, while diners looking to share can opt for the larger Tandoori Dipping Feast, designed as a group meal featuring a selection of KFC favourites paired with dipping sauces.

To complement the savoury additions, KFC is also expanding its beverage range with two matcha-based drinks. The new Iced Strawberry Shortcake Matcha combines the earthy flavour of matcha with sweet strawberry notes, while the Iced Vanilla Matcha offers a smoother, creamier alternative for fans of the increasingly popular Japanese green tea beverage.

The limited-edition street food menu will be available from July 20 until August 23, giving customers just over a month to try the new offerings before they are removed from the menu.

The launch reflects KFC's continued efforts to introduce innovative menu items inspired by global food trends while adapting its signature recipes for local tastes. By combining its famous fried chicken with naan bread, tandoori-inspired flavours, and modern beverages such as matcha drinks, the fast-food chain aims to offer customers a fresh dining experience that stands out from its traditional menu.

With its blend of familiar favourites and street food-inspired flavours, KFC's latest limited-time menu is expected to appeal to both loyal customers and those eager to sample new twists on the brand's classic chicken offerings before the promotion ends in late August.
