Ukraine says it struck three Russian facilities linked to missile production in the Tver and Nizhny Novgorod regions, aiming to disrupt supplies of explosives, rocket fuel and other materials used in manufacturing missiles.

Kyiv Strikes Russian Missile Supply Network, Reports Hits on Three Sites

Ukraine’s military has reported striking three facilities associated with Russia’s missile production in overnight attacks, targeting sites in the Tver and Nizhny Novgorod regions. Kyiv said the operation was intended to disrupt Russia’s ability to obtain materials used in manufacturing missiles, including explosives and rocket fuel.

According to Ukraine’s General Staff, the targets included a factory in the Tver region that produces missile components and a facility in the Nizhny Novgorod region responsible for dismantling intercontinental ballistic missiles. Ukrainian officials said the strikes were aimed at weakening Russia’s military supply capabilities.

Russian Authorities Report Casualty and Industrial Fire

The governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region said a serviceman was killed while attempting to repel the attack. Drone debris also caused what local authorities described as minimal damage to infrastructure.

In the Tver region, a drone attack sparked a fire at an industrial plant in Redkino on Friday morning. The regional governor later confirmed that the blaze had been extinguished. The full extent of the damage at the targeted facilities has not been independently established.

Ukraine Steps Up Attacks on Russian Military Infrastructure

Ukraine has increasingly used domestically produced long-range drones, alongside missiles, to target Russian oil refineries and military production facilities. These operations seek to disrupt the industrial and logistical networks that support Moscow’s military campaign.

The latest reported strikes reflect Kyiv’s continued efforts to limit Russia’s ability to manufacture and maintain its missile arsenal. Russia has continued conducting missile and drone attacks against Ukraine, keeping military infrastructure and weapons supply chains central to the conflict.

Further details on the damage caused by the latest operation and its impact on Russian missile production were not immediately available
