Ocean Gate Sub Ideated about Its Explosions. The Crew Was Aware of The Faulty Design

Ocean Gate Titan was sued by the family of an explorer who participated in the expedition of the Titanic wreck site. Paul Henri Nargeolet was one of the five people on board who died because of the submarine explosion.

The family of the French explorer has filed a lawsuit of $50 million against the Titan Submersible stating the crew experienced mental and terror anguish. The submersible’s expedition in July turned catastrophic as it exploded because of the faulty design, concluded the family of French explorer Paul Henri Nargeolet.

Paul, popularly known as “Mr.Titanic” was quite experienced with the wreck site and very few people had similar knowledge said the Attorney. They further added that the “doomed submersible” had a “troubled history” which questioned about the durability and safety. Not only this, but they failed to determine the key features and facts of the vessel that took the lives of five expeditionists

The submersible tried to abort the dive after 90 minutes as “weights were dropped”. This instigated a curiosity about why the Titan was trying to abort the dive. The exact reason was never mentioned by the sub-operators. However, experts claim, operators knew what was happening.

The lawsuit further claimed that the crew was aware of the carbon fiber cracking when it submersed under water pressure. The lawsuit also claimed communications were lost. However, the spokesperson from Ocean-gate declined the charges and claimed that Paul Henri Nargeolet was an employee of the submarine.

The ship was missing wireless communication systems and or control gauges that could operate even without any source of power. One of the Attorneys claimed that the lawsuit filed by the family was only to seek answers for what had happened inside the sub.
