Pages of Passport Missing after Student Hides Her Visit to Thailand, Gets Caught

A passenger was apprehended at Mumbai airport for reportedly having some of the pages missing. SS Ghatol a student of fashion was stopped during the boarding process of the flight where an officer identified a few torn pages from her passport.
After an investigation, the student said she had recently gone to Thailand and did not want the college to know about it. She was traveling to Singapore for an internship opportunity. She wanted to hide the matter from college for which she disappeared a few pages from the passport.
As this is considered as an offense, Ghatol was arrested under the offense of cheating and violations of the Act under the Passport Act.
Airport security measures are quite strong and do not entertain any form of misguiding techniques. Such incidents are dealt with care as there are many cases when students and other professionals try to expatriate from the country without the proper documentation.
