Rajinikanth Embarks on a Soulful Himalayan Journey for Inner Peace
Rajinikanth took a soulful trip to the Himalayas for spiritual rejuvenation, visiting Rishikesh and Dwarahat. He later shared condolences for the Karur tragedy and was last seen in Coolie.
Mumbai: Superstar Rajinikanth, known for his charisma both on and off-screen, recently took a much-needed pause from his busy schedule to reconnect with his spiritual side. The veteran actor embarked on a serene journey to the Himalayas, seeking rejuvenation and tranquility amidst the mystic landscapes.
According to reports, the iconic actor visited the Swami Dayananda Ashram in Rishikesh, where he paid homage to the revered Swami Dayananda. During his visit, the megastar, fondly called Thalaiva by fans, reportedly spent time meditating on the peaceful banks of the Ganga and even participated in the sacred Ganga Aarti, an experience that many described as transcendental.
After completing his spiritual retreat in Rishikesh, Rajinikanth is said to have travelled to Dwarahat, a region known for its ancient temples and meditative aura. Several photographs from his pilgrimage have surfaced on social media, captivating his followers across the globe.
In one of the pictures, Rajinikanth is seen dressed in a simple white outfit, humbly seated by the roadside, and enjoying a meal served on traditional leaf plates, locally called pattal. The backdrop of a parked car against a scenic hilly terrain adds a rustic charm to the moment. Another photograph captures him engaging in an amiable conversation with a few men, likely devotees or ashram members. One more snapshot shows the actor standing beside a priest, offering his heartfelt respects.
This trip, many believe, reflects Rajinikanth’s enduring faith and his quest for spiritual solace, an intrinsic part of his personality often admired by his fans.
Recently, Rajinikanth expressed his grief over the tragic stampede at the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) rally organised by actor-turned-politician Vijay. Sharing his condolences on X (formerly Twitter), the Kabali star wrote, “The news of the loss of innocent lives in the incident that occurred in Karur shakes the heart and causes immense grief. My deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives. Comfort to those who were injured.” He further added, “My heart trembles. The news coming from Karur brings shock and sorrow. I am at a loss for words to express my deepest condolences to the innocent people who lost their lives trapped in the crowd congestion. I urge the Tamil Nadu government to ensure that those rescued from the congestion receive proper treatment and that those affected receive appropriate relief.”
On the professional front, Rajinikanth was last seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s action drama Coolie, released on August 14. The film, featuring Nagarjuna and Shruti Haasan in pivotal roles, continues to resonate with audiences.
