Scarlett Johansson’s Engagement Ring Grabs Limelight at the 77th Golden Globe Awards

Scarlet Johansson sauntered down the Red Carpet along with fiance-Colin Jost. Fans cannot stop talking about the magnificent engagement ring that adorns The Black Widow actress’s beautiful fingers.

The Golden Globes is the talk of every town, however, the biggest star of the moment was The Rock-oh! Not Dwayne Johnson but the rock on Scarlett Johansson’s finger. Well, yes, that seems to have fallen from the sky. The huge engagement ring was worn by the Black Widow actress Scarlett Johansson and fans went ga-ga over it.

The Ring

Needless to say, the massive rock costs quite massive. It reportedly costs around $400,000. The ring bears an 11-carat light brown diamond, which is extremely huge and unheard of as in a ring. According to Who What Wear, the average person considers a “big” engagement ring to be 2.4 carats, so to hit 11 is basically a blingy, diamond-y flex. Well, that should help make things clear in our minds as to how big the thing is. No doubt, fans were taken aback by its incredible size. The Black Widow star will be envied by many girls.

According to Page Six, the ring is made by James de Givenchy. He is Givenchy’s founder, Hubert de Givenchy’s nephew.

Scarlett and her beau showed for the Golden Globe award 2020 as the talented actress was nominated for her performance in the Netflix movie-The Marriage Story. Her stellar performance caught the eye of the people. For this movie, she has been nominated for the Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama Golden Globe. Adam Driver, is her co-star in the movie. The movie is directed by Noah Baumbach and it is a drama about the life of a married couple and the breakdown of the collapse of the marriage and how the characters deal with it.

Scarlett is in the best phase of her life. After having a good run with Marvel Studios plus announcing a stand-alone Black Widow movie, she has also found her true love and is planning a wedding.

The Man behind the magnificent ring is Colin Jost, a 37-year-old Harvard graduate. He met Johansson on the set of a late-night show-Saturday Night Live in which she was the host and he was the head writer. He had proposed to her in October 2019. In the Ellen Degeneres show, Johansson had mentioned that Jost “killed it” when proposing with “a whole James Bond situation.”
