Shah Rukh Khan fans can’t keep calm—King Khan is all set to make his debut at the world’s biggest fashion event, the Met Gala!

Social media is abuzz with rumours of the Bollywood star’s appearance, but the news was finally confirmed by fashion account DietSabya on April 27.

For the big day, SRK will be donning an ensemble by Sabyasachi.

The Met Gala will take place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York this May.

This year’s theme, selected by Andrew Bolton, curator of The Costume Institute at the Met, is Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.

Inspired by Monica L. Miller’s 2009 book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity, the event will explore the evolution of Black menswear from 18th-century Europe to its modern-day influence.

The Met Gala 2025 promises to be a celebration of Black culture, identity, and the profound impact of Black dandyism on global fashion.
