The New ‘Shazam!’ Is Weirdly Short and Unimpressive, Stop Overhyping!

The news in the air spread like fever, fans pounced over as it was some Sunday treat, but no, it’s no trailer! Rather a montage of shots from the upcoming DC superhero flick ‘Shazam!’.
“He’s Not So Serious”... But Was This Really That Funny?
So, where did all the magic go? Now, that you have witnessed it yourself don’t feel down in the dumps! I know, you had better expectations, hoped to see some more mojo on screen this time, but all you get is some cranky joke on the Dark-Knight, moments of action, the red-suit hunky hero trying to buy some beer and etc. Subtle warning: Joke-plays on the Dark-Knight are becoming quite common now, remember Deadpool?
Why the New Shazam!
Apparently, the new Shazam! Visual is more of a reminder of the film not too effectively built, that it will be striking the big screens on April 5 this year. In case, Aquaman and Spider-Man have shifted the spotlight, fans needed a nudge. The Warner Bros. might have sniffed that you haven’t been missing their first comic superhero too much. Okay… now it makes some sense!
But this wasn’t the kind of vibe the official trailer earned. Shazam! trailer that was launched on July 21, 2018, set the expectations quite high and was much appreciated for its maiden humorous attempt in the films.
But where there is magic there is still hope. Hopefully, the heart-breaking crit transforms overnight into something… quite much like Shazam!
