Women Influencer Insulted for Wearing Shorts in Bengaluru. Social Media Users Spark Outrage
A woman was seen shouting at an influencer for wearing shorts. Instagram users were seen agitated on the lady and many were also supporting her.
Bengaluru has been the most widely spoken critic. Locals were seen agitated regarding the language spoken by the outlanders. Outrage sparks when an elderly lady in Bengaluru asks an influencer not to wear shorts. Not just this but the women also shamed the influencer for wearing one.
Upon recording the video and sharing it on social media channels, it gained thousands of views and virtual support for the influencer. However, few have supported her claims. The video uploaded by Tanny Bhattacharjee was uploaded with the caption “What do you think is the problem, I don’t know what is happening”
The video shows an elderly woman screaming and shouting at the girl for wearing short pants with a hashtag saying “Women against Women”. The video achieved a mark of 1 million views on social media.
Instagram users were seen commenting “Shorts have nothing to do with society. It's your mentality. By the way, why is Aunty wearing a saree with a crop top showing her stomach?" The influencer replied to the comment saying "I agree about ignoring her, and we did ignore her and started walking towards the car park. Then she started following us, shouting in public, and stopped other vehicles to show me in my shorts (legs) to other men. FYI – I was not creating any content there. I was on my way back to the car, and she kept doing this just because I wore shorts?"
