For years, Archana Puran Singh and Kapil Sharma have been a dependable source of rib-tickling entertainment, their chemistry turning casual jokes into nationwide catchphrases. Currently, Archana appears on The Great Indian Kapil Show alongside Navjot Singh Sidhu, with Season 4 streaming on Netflix and a fifth season already locked in.
Recently, Archana finally addressed a question fans have long whispered about: Who earns the biggest paycheck on the show? Her answer was refreshingly candid: Kapil Sharma tops the list.
This revelation surfaced not in a press conference, but during a light-hearted vlog on her son Aaryamann’s YouTube channel. Joining the conversation were her husband, actor Parmeet Sethi, and their younger son, Ayushmaan, adding a family-room warmth to the disclosure.
The vlog captures the family visiting stand-up comedian Samay Raina at his residence. As they admired Samay’s high-end car, Archana joked that she might need to buy one herself. Samay quipped back that she could easily afford four. Ayushmaan, with sharp comic timing, chimed in that such luxury requires one to be “cancelled”, a tongue-in-cheek nod to modern internet fame.
Archana graciously applauded Samay’s rising popularity and his show India’s Got Latent. When Samay pointed out that she already had Kapil Sharma’s show, Archana laughed and replied, “That’s where Kapil earns.
